Pilchuck Audubon Society

Pilchuck Audubon Society (PAS) is a non-profit environmental organization that was founded in 1971. Its members work to protect wildlife and habitat through education, advocacy, and community activism. The group includes members from Snohomish County and Island County in Washington State. The mission of PAS is “to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds and other wildlife, for the benefit of the earth’s biological diversity.”

Monte Cristo Preservation Association

Monte Cristo Preservation Association (MCPA) is a non-profit preservation organization that was formed in 1983. Its members maintain and preserve the historical and environmental values of the century-old Monte Cristo mining area. The group includes members from throughout the northwest. Its mission is “to preserve and protect the naturalecology and human history of the Monte Cristo area, including the valley of the South Fork Sauk River and the surrounding regions of the Henry M. Jackson Wilderness Area.”

 

North Cascades Conservation Council

North Cascades Conservation Council (NCCC) is a non-profit environmental advocacy organization that was formed in 1957. Its members work to guide Park and Wilderness Areas management, support wildlife conservation, protect old growth forests and pristine watersheds, and promote environmentally sound motorized recreational use of wild areas in the North Cascades of Washington State. The group includes members from throughout Washington State. Its mission is “to protect and preserve the North Cascades’ scenic, scientific, recreational, educational, and wilderness values.”

 

Cascades Land Conservancy

Cascades Land Conservancy (CLC) is a non-profit conservation organization that was formed more than 20 years ago. Its members have worked to preserve more than 163,000 acres of forests, farms, shorelines, parks and natural areas. The group includes members from throughout the northwest. The CLC mission statement: "The Cascade Land Conservancy envisions a region that combines spectacular landscapes, a vibrant economy and great places to live".

 

North Cascades Institute

North Cascades Institute (NCI) is a non-profit conservation education organization that was formed in 1986. It members have connected people, nature and community through science, art, literature and hands-on study of natural and cultural history. The group includes members from throughout the northwest. The NCI Mission Statement: Ourmission is to conserve and restore Northwest environments through education.

 

Futurewise

Futurewise is a non-profit growth management organization that was founded in 1990. Its members work together to advocate for smart growth policies to save natural places and open spaces. The group includes members from throughout Washington State. Futurewise's Mission Statement: Futurewise is a statewide public interest group working to promote healthy communities and cities while protecting farmland, forests and shorelines today and for future generations.

 

Western Rivers Conservancy

Western Rivers Conservancy (WRC) is a non-profit conservation organization that was founded in 1988. Its members have worked to the protect hundreds of miles of river frontage. The group includes members from throughout the United States. The WRC mission statement: Western Rivers Conservancy protects outstanding river ecosystems in the western United States. We acquire land to conserve critical habitat, provide public access for compatible use and enjoyment, and cooperate with other agencies and organizations to secure the health of whole ecosystems .
